Thursday = Big lumb day

Lukas just told me that I can expect a new release on thursday evening. I’m posting this on here, because. Well, as potential evidence if it is not submitted.
Also we’re proud to announce that we have our first betatester ready in line: Jesse Graves – yeeeehawww !
Hope we won’t disappoint him.

Another news just came in: Lukas will attend unity usergroup meeting in the netherlands, planning to take a beta version of bonk-a-donk with him to play test it. Am I ok with that ?

Um, so you want to know if i’d be ok with total strangers being asked to play a game that I took a part in developing – all at a unity-affine audience gathering ?

OF COURSE I AM :D

If you want to find out more about this wonderful community effort, check out their site for more information – incase you’re capable of understanding that wonderful language these delightful persons utilize:

Are you badonkadonk ?

Man, what a cheesy tagline :D
Due to overwhelming feedback I think this is the font, we’re gonna use. I also settled on a button style for the….well for the buttons !
Looks good at smaller size. We’ll see how it turns out. This is the style we’re committing to, as of now:

The pucks moving in the background is an idea that I may tell Lukas just a day before release, so he doesn’t kill me too soon ;)

Cheers, guys :)

Logo/Game title in progress…

Yay, the noble wood sparkled some ideas about how to “brand” the game. Badonkadonk with the “-”‘s as requested by Lukas seems the way to go for now :)
Chosen because it reads like the pucks sound when donking around !

We shall figure out, which way to go. Not sure about the buttons backdrop. Could be left out alltogether. We’ll see about that. First sending that off to Lukas and wait for his judgement :)

Hope we can test a couple of variations on the ipad to see which one works best at the target resolution. Since the mockups were made on a rather tiny screenspace. Had it happen too often, that something looked good on the computer but sucked on the device or vice versa…
Interesting times :D

Pucking v0.12

I shall adapt to Lukas cool programming version labeling from now on :D

I recorded this video in my cozy cozy livingroom. Holding the camera with one hand, balancing the iPad with my legs and trying to control the pucks with the other hand is quite the challenge in itself !

Check it out and share to all of your potential investors, fanboys, admirers and cutey cuddlepersons in the world !
